Free Legal Literacy workshops aim to improve survivors' understanding of the legal system. The workshops will cover an overview of Domestic Violence legal procedures, AVO application, Family Law, Property Law, Police legal responsibilities, Statutory Declarations and Legal lived experiences.

Arrive: 9:45 am for a 10 am start

Finish 2.30 pm 

A light lunch will be provided 

Guest speakers include representatives from the following organisations:

• Qld Police Service – Northside VPU DFV Unit
• Northside Connect
• Women'sLegal Service 
• Immigration Lawyer 

Guest speakers will share information for domestic violence survivors to further their understanding of the legal system.
