By writing the books of Rebuilding Life After Domestic Violence, Stories of Strength and Success Broken to Brilliant aims to recreate the life story that does not deny the trauma, but the story formation conveys strengths and is solution-based highlighting one’s potential for growth in the face of adversity. This approach helps to restore hope for the victim and the readers. 

The charity and books use a ‘pay it forward’ model offering domestic violence survivors, each at a different stage in re-establishment and recovery, to band together and share how they have rebuilt their lives – to ‘pay it forward’. Each story, each page and every word mentors fellow survivors to create positive new life chapters after domestic violence.

4. Coerced to Courageous - Taking Back Your Power After Coercive Control ad Domestic Abuse  

5. Violence to Victory Voices of Resilience from Domestic Violence Survivors in rural, regional and remote Australia.

Violence to Victory also completes the BRAVE series, a concept created by Broken to Brilliant Co-Founder Andrea, with a letter from each book title used to spell BRAVE across the spines of the five books.

​

The BRAVE series represents a decade of survivor voices, lived-experience wisdom and practical hope – written from one survivor to another.

​

​​​​Through the Give a Book Campaign, the Charity Broken to Brilliant donates copies of their five books to Domestic Violence Refuges to give hope, courage, inspiration and direction to help domestic violence survivors on their journey that lies ahead.

​
