Join the DV-ART program
Commencing 14th February 2021 we are calling for domestic violence survivors to apply for the DV-ART program which will commence with session 1 on the 11th April 2021. For the complete DV-ART program the cost is only $59. This includes all materials, activities, professional art therapist and light snacks.
Using art therapy techniques you will be creating an art piece depicting your journey of reclaiming yourself after abuse through the Domestic Violence Amazing Resilient Thriver (DV-ART) program. The culmination of overcoming abuse will be celebrated at the DV-ART Show held during Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month, hosted by Loretta Ryan, ABC Radio The DV-ART show will be held at the Richard Randall Art Studio Mount Cootha Rd, Toowong Wednesday 19th May 2021, 7-9pm.
Program Facilitator
This program will be led by a qualified art therapist, domesitc violence survivor, Broken to Brilliant author, Kerry from Weird Fishh Expressive Health Services which is a holistic approach to Art Psychotherapies
Applications open
Applications open from 14th Feb to 30 March 2021, limited to 10 domestic violence survivors who have reclaimed themselves after abuse.
