Brisbane Botanic Gardens  Connection Walk 3rd Saturday of the Month

Meeting Point: Brisbane Botanic Gardens Information Centre, Mount Coot-tha, 152 Mount Coot-tha Road, Mount Coot-tha,

Walk time: 8 - 9 am

Coffee and Chat: 9 - 9:30 am

Our walk is more than just physical exercise; it's a celebration of the small joys in life and an opportunity to foster respectful relationships while taking a stand against Domestic Violence. As we walk through the beautiful gardens, we take a moment to appreciate the blessings in our lives and practice gratitude, which has been proven to increase happiness and reduce depression.

After the walk, we gather back at the cafe to enjoy a cuppa and a chat. The Brisbane Botanic Gardens  Connection Walk offers a safe and supportive environment for domestic violence victims- survivors-thrivers, families, friends, and community members to connect with one another. Our diverse group creates a strong support network, ensuring that no one feels isolated on their journey towards healing and growth.

Studies have shown that outdoor walking groups contribute to reduced blood pressure, total cholesterol, and the risk of depression. By coming together and sharing our experiences, we reduce social isolation and strengthen our sense of belonging and connectedness.

If you're looking for a meaningful way to connect with others, experience the healing power of nature, and embrace gratitude in your life, the Brisbane Botanic Gardens  Connection Walk is the perfect opportunity. Whether you're seeking solace, support, or simply a delightful morning in the company of kindred spirits, we welcome you to join our walking group.
