About The Event

Undoubtedly, social media has revolutionized the way we connect with our loved ones. However, it also poses certain risks that we must be aware of. This session will equip you with the knowledge required to navigate social media safely.

Join us for the Cultivating Brilliance Survivors Series, featuring inspiring guest speakers via ZOOM throughout May, which is Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.

Our upcoming guest speaker, Megan Burnett, is a Communications Consultant who will be speaking on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023 at 7 pm via ZOOM.

During this session, we will discuss Social Media Safety. Social media is an incredibly useful tool to connect with loved ones; however, it also comes with its own set of risks. This session aims to empower you with the knowledge you need to navigate social media safely.

We will cover the following points from the Brilliance Wheel, emphasizing the importance of lifelong learning and safety:

Megan, a survivor and qualified communications professional started her own consultancy business in February 2022 and works with government and corporate clients. She specializes in social media engagement, analytics, and content creation. Megan graduated from QUT with a B. Creative Industries (Distinction) in 2019 and completed a Graduate Certificate in Digital Communications in 2021. Follow her on LinkedIn.
